Welcome to ESAT Clubs

We are so excited to offer a wide range of after school clubs and activities for our students through After School All Stars.

If you have any questions about any of the clubs, feel free to email the teacher/ club sponsors listed on each page or email Ms. Jennifer De Santiago at [email protected]. And, if there are any clubs you don’t see listed that you are interested in starting, we start new clubs each semester based on student request!

Arts of Design

Calling all artists – this one is for you! If you have been looking for a space to be around other students who enjoy creating and making, then this is the club for you. You don’t need to be a skilled artist already, you just need to come ready to practice and be creative.

Fencing Club

Have you ever wanted to learn an Olympic sport or how to really swing a sword? Fencing Club offers students the Olympic Sports training experience through competitive sword fighting. Scholars can choose between regular training for friendly duels and intensive athletic training to compete in tournaments throughout the Southern California Fencing League. Fencing is a rare opportunity that also gives scholars the competitive edge when applying for universities with Fencing Teams. Come join us in the Cafeteria after school on Mondays and Wednesdays or Contact Mr. Templehof for more info.

Fitness Club

Back by popular demand, our weight and cardio rooms are open for students to use during Fitness Club. Most of our students are not enrolled in a PE class after 9th grade – and we want to make sure that you have the option to stay healthy and active – so that you can be more focused on learning in school. Download a workout guide on Youtube, bring your headphones and a bottle of water, and grab a workout buddy so you can push yourself to new limits as you grow stronger and healthier along the way.

Yearbook Club

The purpose of the ESAT yearbook is to record the school year, to provide a sense of pride among students and staff, to serve as a community awareness and public relations tool. Creating a yearbook requires time, dedication and consistency. Scholars are required to apply and interview for their spot on the staff. As this club functions yearly, it will be requested that staffers return to take a consistent role. As a Senior staff member with years of experience you will move into an Editorial role that will require you to run this yearbook club. As a yearbook staffer you will gain experience in graphic design, communication and photographic skills.
